Water Restrictions
A number of new families have joined the Powhatan Secondary communities since we last sent out helpful information on protecting the limited groundwater sources in James City County.
The attached summary of outdoor water regulations apply to James City Service Authority (JCSA) customers from May 1 to September 30 each year. The second attachment, the James City County Water Conservation Guidelines shows the requirement for irrigation systems to include rain sensors. Not only do rain sensors automatically shut off irrigation systems; they also help reduce water bills by letting nature handle the watering.

Powhatan Secondary Clubhouse Renamed
The Powhatan Secondary Board of Directors renamed the clubhouse Louise Pearson Clubhouse of Powhatan Secondary.
Louise Pearson has been an active participant in every major event for our neighborhood; has served (still serves) in multiple volunteer positions in the HOA; sat in several HOA Director positions including Board President, spearheaded our document approval campaign; serves as a resource on PCSA history and traditions, and has run the clubhouse committee for many, many years.
Louise Pearson works hard to maintain a high standard for the clubhouse facilities. Her guidance and training have helped lead dozens of volunteers over the years. There is nothing that Louise loves more than the Powhatan Clubhouse.
Check out the new plaque on the front of the clubhouse and the new signage on the monument.
And, when you see Louise thank her for all she does and continues to do to make our community the great place that it is to live.
